Article target audience: Film students

Planning Comments
article genre
(purpose, type)
My type of article will be an Interview and review article. The purpose of the article is to inform and provide information but also give an insight in to the life of a YouTuber. This article will be an interview with jack who has a YouTube channel with over 30,000 subscribers. This is an educational and beneficial article that will hopefully inspire young people of my target audience to try their hand at making YouTube videos and films.
Narrative voice
(1st, 2nd or 3rd person)
I will use 1st person because it is my own opinion on his YouTube channel. But it also will be me asking the questions in the interview as well. This allows my audience become more connected. This way the audience can easily get into the state of mind and becomes more involved in the article.
Register
(informal/formal, colloquial, dialect, taboo words?)
The language I will use will be informal to connect easier towards my target audience, reasons for this is because the young age of my target audience will relate and be more comfortable with informal language and this also allows a light feel towards the article making it convey a more friendly and inviting feel. There will be slight use of mild taboo and use of maybe a little bit of colloquial language.
Stylistics
(repetition, strong verbs, adjectives, alliteration, similes, metaphors, sentencing, rhythm)
The style of the article will be very informative and will not try to be clever with the use of different styles. The rhythm of the article will be medium to short rhythm with a long sentence to every 2 or 3 short sentences.  The tittle has a form of repetition in and as for repetition it will have many question and answers in the article.
Tone of address
(hectoring, sarcastic, ‘matey’, ironic, etc)
The tone of address for the article will come across matey and trying to connect with the audience make them feel as if they are in the interview.
Structure and pace
(discourse structure, logical paragraphing, connectives, conclusion)
The structure of the article will work around the layout designed for the article to fit in. This meaning for the opening paragraphs there will be a short intro summing up the channel. Then it will have many question and answers throughout and end with a conclusion of how the answers and information gained could benefit the reader. It will follow a discourse structure of having a beginning middle and an end in a form.
